Scheduling Dock Appointments:
All appointment requests should be sent to the following e-mail address:
dock@nebcold.com. Notification of late arrival is by phone to 402-461-4442.
Dock appointments are booked based upon availability and lead time. A valid order is needed to book a dock appointment.
Late Truck Policy: In the event a truck is unable to arrive at our facility within the 15-minutes grace period allotted to every booking, Nebraska Cold Storage will charge a $150 fee for the cost of putting away the staged goods. Re-booking is then required. The fee is waived if we are notified of the delay at least 2 hours prior to appointment time.
Driver Check-In Requirements for Shipments:
Customer Pick Up number or PO number.
Certain shippers require us to collect additional information, so please be prepared to allow us to view and copy: 1. Drivers License, 2. Tractor Registration, 3. Trailer Registration. If we determine that the photo id is not current we may require the driver to be photographed.
Equipment Requirements for Shipments:
If you are picking up a refrigerated or frozen shipment, your trailer must be pre-cooled to the Carrier Protective Service temperature. In addition, your trailer must be clean and odor free. You may be required to sign a statement acknowledging that the equipment conforms to the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) rule on Sanitary Transportation of Human and Animal Food.
